Pam's Daily Wave...

My Tuesday Morning Hatteras...

Good Morning and Welcome to Tuesday 😊

On waking this morning, I decided I definitely needed some inspiration....my ocean was calling...and I had to go 💗

It was still super dark when I left, and the walk down past the large beach houses was a quiet one. This is in stark comparison to the busy summer months, when people leave lights on all night, there are lots of cars in driveways, and you can often hear the early risers beginning their day beginning their day early. I started to climb the wooden steps over the dunes, when a little deer decided to pop across my path.

I walked along the shoreline to the place I like to sit, and settled, so I may listen to the waves break on the beach. It really was just me, myself and I........and some chatty seagulls, some soaring pelicans skimming the morning surf, a little crab making a new home in the sand, and some playful dolphins that decided to leap around in the rising sunlight. I hadn't needed to go far at all to find my inspiration - it was all around me.

Taking this moment to be still, and to surround myself with nature, allowed me to be calm and to reassess the day ahead. The things that I had been anxious about, became manageable again.... and with each breath, I felt stronger and more confident.

There's a saying that "It's always darkest before the dawn" which is adapted from a proverb used by Thomas Fuller, an English theologian, in the year 1650 - meaning things often seem worse, just before they get better.

I have embraced the "dark before dawn", it's one of my favorite times of day - I think it's a magical time of hope......and when the beautiful colors dance on the water, as the sun wakes the sky....Anything does seem possible 💗

Until next time,

Take care, Stay safe and remember...With hope - Everything is possible.

Hugs,

Pam

Thanks for the pictures of dawn, which I rarely enjoy because I stay up to late and love sleeping until I am ready to face the day, after 9 hours of sleep.
