Pam's Daily Wave...(Scottish Version😊)

Good Morning...😊

In a recent email from one of my blog readers, I was asked if I still have my Scottish accent?.......Absolutely, I replied, no matter how hard I have tried over the years to disguise my accent, it is still extremely evident. Even after 10 years of living in North Carolina, apart from an occasional "Y'all", I still in my opinion, sound way too Scottish. I pronounce some words differently from others, I have different words for things, and every now and again, completely out of the blue, I’ll use a Scottish saying to describe something…. and even after 18 years of being around me, JB still will stop what he’s doing and ask what the heck am I talking about?

So, yes, I do still have a very Scottish accent. The reader then emailed back to let me know she would love to hear me read my blogs, in other words, to tell my stories in addition to writing them.

I had considered this before, mainly for anyone that struggled with the small print in the blog posts, but decided against it because of my rather strange accent, that, according to my beloved husband, makes me sound like a demented Scottish pixie (well, I am just over 5ft tall and known to be rather mischievous at times).

Anyways…. I thought on it some more and decided that I might just give it a go – and although there won’t be subtitles (trust me, you may want them), you can read along in the original blog, or just watch the pictures.

So, I’ve recorded the first blog I had written back in January, and will post a link on the website. I may have to put this in a video on YouTube so it can be uploaded.

If anyone actually enjoys the recording (even if only for its comedic value), I’ll go ahead and record the rest of the blogs and post them on the website.
