Good Morning and Welcome to Sunday š
As you may have noticed (by the inordinate amount of photos I take!!), I love watching the sunrise in the mornings.

But sometimes, Iām so focused on the incredible sunrise, that I can miss the beauty of the cotton candy sky thatās in the other direction. How often do we become so absorbed on the āmain eventā, that we completely miss whatās going on āoff cameraā so to speak - The incredible colors of the cotton candy sky, the pelicans gracefully skimming the waves, that beautiful, delicate light that plays on the ocean as the sun rises, the dolphin leaping out of the water in pure delight, the moon still visible in the morning skyā¦

So many incredible sights that can be so easily missedā¦

How many things do we miss in our everyday lives as we are too focused on the obvious ā the shiny object in front of usā¦. The person making the most noiseā¦. Our own blind ambition...The perceived prize?
Itās so easy to miss, not only the beauty in the other direction, but also signs for help, guidance, love or support. Itās not that we purposely ignore these signs, we may just be a little too focused on the āshiny objectā in front of us - and their voice may not be loud enough to attract our attention.
As Iām aware of our preponderance to miss whatās going on in the periphery of a scene, I try to remember to make the effort to pay a bit more attention to the whole pictureā¦..to look in the opposite direction.
If like me, you can become a little too absorbed in the main event....why not try looking in the opposite direction - you may be surprised by what you're missing...

Until next time,
Take care, Stay Safe and See what you may find in the opposite direction š
Hugs,
Pam

I had a life changing experience a number of years back. It was an event called 95 Share. It was an experience that showed us how to look at the things around us in a 180 way in order to capture 95% of our markets. It taught us that if we always look in the same direction, we will miss so much. Ever since then I always take the opportunity to look all around me in a different way so as to see the beauty or opportunity that is there but goes unseen many times.
