Good Morning and A Very Happy Tuesday to You 😊

Yesterday afternoon, I spent some time at the Old Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Beach, watching the storm out at sea. I was concentrating on the incredible waves...when I noticed the amazing birds that were flying against the wind. It would have been so much easier for them to go with the flow of the wind, but instead, they chose to go where they wanted to go - even if it meant going against that extremely powerful wind. They swooped and dived, often pushed back...but never changing direction, they just kept going.

I got to thinking that, I've flown against the wind so many times....which is probably why I've had so many awesome (sometimes a tad scary and/or risky) adventures, but I chose to do those things, as opposed to living a life wondering what would have happened if I'd only taken that chance, or having feelings of regret for opportunities missed.

Has my adventure always had a positive outcome.....absolutely not - often it has been a lesson learned. But, at least I gave it my best shot 😊

I was super fortunate that I had a couple of hours free to sit and watch the ocean flexing its muscles, and obviously I got to writing....So, a couple of poems, and a larger blog piece to be posted at a later date, were born.

It was absolutely incredible to watch the ocean....such raw power 💗

Now I have to go and do some of the chores I put off yesterday, so I could watch the storm...💗

Be along for the ride

Compliant

Impressionable

Malleable

Probably...
