Good Morning...and welcome to this beautiful Saturday morning 😊

Are you living your life thinking you aren't that smart? or not clever enough?...have no talent or natural ability?

Have you ever wondered why you think that?

My personal belief is that absolutely everyone is born with a natural talent and ability, that we all have a special gift that we can bring to our world.

The problem is, we so often don't believe in ourselves, and way too often, we listen to others' opinions of us....which can quickly crush that idea that you have something special to give.

You begin thinking that everyone around you is smarter, more intelligent, more creative than you could ever be - you don't want to embarrass yourself.....so you just stop trying....😔

Our unique talents are just that...unique! Each of us really does have genius in us - we just have to take the time to discover what ours is. Try to go back in your memory to a time when you weren't worried about what people thought of you, when you didn't feel like you were being "judged" all the time.....You were You - not the person shaped by the opinion of others. People can be cruel, even when they may not mean it. A passing remark that they may not think that bad, can in some instances, crush a fragile ego.

I have 2 things I would love you to think about today...

The first is - Have you discovered your innate talent? That precious pearl that you were born with.... is it hidden away or yet to be found?

Why not spend some time getting to know yourself a little better and find that gift you have (and please believe that everyone has at least one).

The second is - Before you make a comment or pass a remark about a person's abilities....please think carefully about what you are doing. Is it encouragement? be helpful to them?....or are you potentially crushing someone's fragile ego?

It would just take a minute's thought - but could change the path of someone's life. And please remember the quote from Albert Einstein:

"Everybody is a genius

But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree

It will live its whole life thinking it is stupid"
